Some time during the memorization sessions is dedicated to ensuring that every child, along with memorizing the Holy Quran, also develops the ability to read, write, and understand basic arithmetic. Although the undivided attention of both the children and the esteemed teachers is crucial for memorizing the Quran, Darul Uloom has, for the first time in the country, arranged a system of schedules such that children neither lose focus nor become victims of mental dispersion. They keep progressing by working a little bit in minimal time. By the time they complete their memorization, children should be proficient in reading and writing Urdu, as well as basic arithmetic.
